Ulladulla Tennis Academy

Kevin Murphy is a fully qualified Tennis Australia professional coach based at the Ulladulla Tennis Centre and is available, with his assistants through the Ulladulla Tennis Academy, to conduct coaching at all levels.

For any of your tennis needs, including coaching for children and adults, see our Club Coach Kevin in the Pro Shop. He can supply racquets, restringing, grips and other assorted tennis gear along with advice on the right equipment to suit and advance your game.

Whether you are a beginner or a top player just wanting to brush up on your skills, Kevin is your man.

Group lessons / private lessons

Group or private lessons can be arranged for children or adults at the following times:

Group lessons:

  • Mondays 4pm – 5pm – primary school age
  • Mondays 5pm – 6pm – high school age

Tuesdays – private lessons

Wednesdays – private lessons

Thursdays – Junior squad – 3.30pm-5pm

Thursdays – Senior squad – 5pm-7pm

Fridays – 4.30pm – 5.30pm mixed

Saturday morning – Hot Shots (Beginners)

Private lessons can be arranged:

  • before school (kids)
  • during school hours (Adults)
  • after school (kids or adults)
Hot Shots program

Kids, if you’d like to learn how to play or improve your skills to qualify for the competition you can join the Hotshots group on Saturday mornings. There are two one hour sessions – one for beginners starting at 8:45 – 9.45 and the other at 9:45 – 10.45 for transitional players to prepare them to enter the comp if they want.

You will learn specific skills and participate in games and activities with a group of friends of similar ability to practice the skills. Contact Kevin on 0417 359 721 to find out more or how to register for your free shirt when you join.

School holiday clinics

Juniors don’t have to miss out on their tennis during the holidays.

There will be a children’s tennis coaching clinic with our club coach Kevin Murphy and his assistants running during the school holidays at the Ulladulla Tennis courts in Warden Street near the Leisure Centre.

The Mid-year holiday clinics in  July 2019 are
 Monday 8th to Thursday 11th.

Clinics are suitable for all skill levels and include full court coaching with team games and challenges and prizes to be won. Arrive at 8:45 to register for a 9am start concluding at 1pm.

Snacks and refreshments are available at the club with fruit supplied, players just need to bring morning tea and water.

During the summer season a free 1 hr swim at the leisure centre next door will be included on the day if weather permits so pack your cossies and a towel just in case. In case of wet weather go indoors to the Dunn Lewis Centre.

Tennis coaching for schools

Kev is happy to come to any of the schools within 50 kms of Ulladulla or he will be happy to put a program in place for any school that would like to offer the students tennis as a sport at the school or the Milton or Ulladulla Tennis Centres. Ph: 0417359721
