Seniors NSW Tournament
The Ulladulla Tennis Centre in Warden Street hosts a seniors tournament every February when players aged from 35 to 85 from all around NSW, ACT, Victoria and further afield converge on the Ulladulla district for the annual Summer Games Seniors Tennis Tournament.
In 2020 the tournament will be held from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd of February with applications for entries available in November.
Entry forms and information has been mailed to all players currently on our database and can be downloaded below.
Forms and detailed event information is also available from the Tennis Seniors NSW website.
More than 200 players plus their entourages will be drawn to the area with many staying on for a holiday after the competition. In the past some have represented Australia at an international level where they have been successful in becoming world champions.
Beginning in 1999 this popular tournament, appeals to many due to the friendships, camaraderie and good times that the competition will bring.
On Saturday night the Club will host a barbecue for competitors and volunteers for everyone to get together and socialise off the courts.
While the competition is targeted at visitors, a number of Ulladulla Tennis Club players will also participate in the competition.
Residents and visitors are invited to witness some great tennis being played and to see the outstanding facility we have in Ulladulla. Entry to the complex is free and there are many viewing areas throughout with first class catering services.
Mary Lou Barclay is the tournament convenor and will begin taking entries in November for Singles events on Friday, Men’s and Ladies Doubles on Saturday morning with Mixed Doubles in the afternoon. These events will be held again on Sunday in varying age groups.
As at the end of December all of the mens and ladies doubles events are full but there are still places in the singles and mixed doubles.
